Empire Biscuits, sometimes called Imperial Biscuits or German Biscuits or Belgian Biscuits, are sweet biscuits (cookies) that orginated in Scotland. Similar to shortbread, the biscuits are buttery and delightfully sweet. We fill ours with a locally made raspberry jam from an Amish farm just a couple of hours away from us. We finish each biscuit sandwich with handmade icing and a raspberry gummy that we source from a small business out of Indiana. Each package contains 12 cookie sandwiches, Perfect for sharing or gift giving!
