Product Description The STANLEY 100-Foot-by-3/8-Inch FatMax Long Tape Rule makes rewinding a breeze with a 3-to-1 gear drive for faster rewind. A stainless steel blade of STANLEY tape measure ensures long life while a steel roller cage protects the case from being cut by blade curing retraction. The high impact ABS case withstands rugged conditions and a rubber, slip-resistant grip assures a solid hold. The Tru-Zero end hook allows accurate inside and outside measurements. From the Manufacturer The Stanley Works, originally a bolt and door hardware manufacturing company located in New Britain, Connecticut; was founded in 1843 by Frederick T. Stanley. A few years later, in 1857, Fredericks cousin, Henry Stanley, founded The Stanley Rule and Level Company. In 1920, The Rule and Level Company merged with The Stanley Works and would go on to become its famous Hand Tools Division.
